CAPITOL PLEIN AIR FESTIVAL, SACRAMENTO, CA
From October11-16, I participated with about thirty-five other artists in a plein air event held in and around Sacramento. We painted the riverfronts, the Delta, and the city itself every day except October 13 when the area was hit by a fierce storm which left the skies fresh and the temperatures cooler. I was awarded a first place award for my painting “Bank in Oak Park.” I was awarded a People’s Choice award for my painting “Downtown Sacramento.”
